Menatenate

Menatenate is the Saturday morning session of the Trans-Kalahari Nights Glamping Experience. This experience provides a sense of nostalgia and fun as the attendees have an opportunity to take part in a competition that features childhood indigenous games that include diketo, morabaraba, mmela, kgathi. It is all about fun, entertainment and participation.

In addition to the games, our aim is to provide fun experiences that will enable our guest to actively participate and learn African craftsmanship and entertainment. We therefore offer the Ikgantshe segment to our guests.  This component offers three practical experiences:

  1. Traditional  Dancing
  2. Traditional fighting techniques
  3. Traditional crafts

As part of the Saturday morning activities, a historical-cultural tour of the Ramotshere – Moiloa district that will feature interesting historical and cultural facts of the Bahurutshe of the region will be offered to guests. This tour will end in Kaditshwene a heritage site of the North West Province.

Because Burn Night activities will start at 14:00, we offer these arts and crafts activities hourly throughout the morning alongside the spa offering for those who would be interestedin learning how to create traditional clothing and arts and crafts.
